Look who's here

Finally the much-awaited business magazine Forbes India was launched yesterday.  It is the first international magazine to make an entry in India. Since, FDI permitted in print media is only 26%, it had no other option but to choose an obvious Indian partner, Raghav Bahl’s TV18. I hope that this magazine will have insightful analysis as compared to the likes of Business India, Business World and Business Today, which has nothing but facts, facts and facts without any meaningful analysis.
What I liked about the magazine launch ceremony was the opening remarks by the CEO of Forbes Media, Steve Forbes. One of his lines was, “The purpose of business is to spread happiness and not to pile up monies”.
Steve Forbes promised that the magazine would have global content with an India twist. He strongly felt that the growth of economies like India and China is good not only for India and China but also for the USA.
Can’t wait to read the first issue.

Hey Jitz- I like your thought process. Long back during the end of cold war days, my dad taught me (which I never practiced) – Don’t sleep with one rupee in your pocket, invest in land (it’s not manufactured anymore), the stock market or else the country looses twenty paisa. That rupee could have been one rupee twentieth paisa.
Well he was from the old think tank where he actually contradicted with then Forbes theory. But I’m glad we are thinking with the right economical, political philosophy.
On the personal front- Did you get the luv bites? Is it going Kinky?
Shivz is on a train to Gronable, travelling back home with her completed thesis.

You know what... while I was reading your comment... i thought how on earth Sasank can write a para with 88 decent words... but then look at your next 13... that's the real Sasank :-) I am sure Shivani will be impressed with your first 88 words and I hope she gives u big kick for troubling me with that "one question" over and over again... I am glad that she completed her thesis.. u must be dying to meet her... so am I.. even I am dying to meet someone.. tomorrow's the day :-) .. u know who's back in town...
